Agreement
By creating an account or using Poetry Codices you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to use Poetry Codices. Poetry Codices is operated by Jose Daniel Letona Gonzales.
Your content is yours
You own the poems, chapbooks and everything else you create. By posting on Poetry Codices you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content within the service, so that we can show it to the readers you choose and keep backups. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for archived copies kept for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not post content that harasses, threatens or bullies anyone; that promotes hatred or violence against people on the basis of who they are; that is sexual and involves minors; that impersonates another person; or that you do not have the right to post. Do not spam, scrape, or interfere with the service or with other people’s use of it.
Reports and moderation
You can report any poem, note, comment, verse or profile from within the app, and you can block any poet so that their work no longer appears to you. Reports are read by the one person who runs Poetry Codices, who removes content that violates these terms and may suspend or terminate the account that posted it. There is no guaranteed response time. Blocking takes effect immediately.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time — see how to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Poetry Codices is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in New York.
Changes
When these terms change we update the effective date above, and for material changes we tell you in the app.
